tommy millar tempo changing in backing seq Wed Apr 10 02:40:41 2002 195.93.50.171 change the style/arrangements roughly where you want them, then edit the control track to put them exactly where you want them. If you're not doing anything too complex, then an often overlooked parameter is to quantise 'on the way in' ie, set a quantise value lower than 'hi'. This can be helpful if you tend to 'push' chord changes. If you change sty/arr during a backing seq, just go with the change in tempo until your next section, then take the unwanted new tempo out by editing the tempo track. If you try to change to desired tempo while recording, you finish up with several events to delete, rather than just 1 where the arr changed. HTH, tommy
