pitch bend on aftertouch

hi chuck,
In the prgram edit mode, you have to selesct the pitch bend tab and then 
you will have joystick X and aftertouch settings on your screen. select 
the values u desire for the aftertouch bend ( -12 to +12 ). Note , one 
can have different bend values for the aftertouch and the joystick.
I use +2 for the joystick and +1 for the aftertouch so I can get bends 
from +1 to +3 by combining the joystick and the aftertouch. Thats the 
only way I can come close to the SITAR solo's used in Asian music.
The i-30 still provides me with surprises!!!. Anyone out there who agrees???????
